Affiliate Marketing Tools for Choosing a Niche Product

Affiliate Marketing and Picking a Niche

Choosing a Niche ProductWhen choosing a niche product for an affiliate marketing campaign, most affiliates immediately log onto Clickbank, choose the product with the highest commission and the most popularity, and start the campaign.  While Clickbank is a great way to find an affiliate product niche, there are other unique tools you can use to choose an affiliate product.

Open Directory

Open Directory websites list hundreds of thousands of websites that offer affiliate products.  One of the largest Open Directory sites on the Internet is Dmoz.org which provides a way for you to drill deep down and find a very specific niche affiliate product with low competition.

Dmoz has over 4,000,000 websites with over 700,000 categories in which you can search for an affiliate niche product.

  • How to Search for an Affiliate Product Niche

Using the “Shopping” category as an example, we will choose a niche from the category such as “Home and Garden.”  From this category we can choose a sub-category such as “Outdoor Structures.”  From here you can get more specific by choosing “Greenhouses.”  Under this category you can start to see more specific niche products related to the broader term of “Home and Garden.”

From there you can get into more specifics such as cedar greenhouses and then search under that topic for specific niche affiliate products.  Once you find a specific product you can go to the Dmoz home page and use the Advanced Search feature to research websites that are offering your product.  You can find out how they are offering them and get ideas as to what you can do differently.

From there you can proceed to the Internet and Google to start your keyword research and begin to construct your affiliate marketing campaign.

Ebay Pulse

Ebay Pulse is another unique tool for locating an affiliate product niche.  You can access Ebay Pulse by logging onto:  http://pulse.ebay.com.  As soon as you arrive at the home page you will see the most popular products features. Do not waste your time considering one of these products because you will be unable to find a unique niche, due to the fact the market is so saturated with these products. Instead you will need to dig deeper into the popular searches.

  • Searching Ebay Pulse

Choose a product that interests you and that you are knowledgeable about and then begin with “Category.”  We will use “cell phone” as an example.  When you type in “cell phone” you will once again receive a list of popular searches.  These are still too broad so you will need to dig deeper.

Go to Subcategories and choose an item related to cell phones such as cell phone accessories.  Go a little further into the subcategories by clicking on the menu for the popular searches.  This will take you to more specifics like cell phone cases and from there you can dig further such as brands of cell phone cases, etc.

Once you discover a unique product it is time to start researching the product on the Internet and discovering what keywords are being used to locate the product and the kind of traffic that is generated from the keywords.  Once you have accomplished this, check the Ebay search results to see if there is an adequate supply of products.

Finally, choose a domain, create your landing page, and set up a pay per click affiliate marketing campaign.

Internet Marketing Reality Check

Exciting outlook

Getting started in internet marketing is so exciting that many new marketers tell family and friends about their new venture. They see possibilities they never dreamed of – and realize their age, race or physical limitations are not limitations when working online. In their excitement they expound on what they plan to do and how much money they can make and are crushed and angered when friends respond with skepticism. Don’t worry about what others think – get busy and prove them wrong.

These aspiring marketers search online for “how to make money” and are inundated with hundreds of sales pages promising easy cash, fast profits and great income for just working a few minutes each day. They spend hours reading the text on these sites and the claims and promises can cause common sense to fly out the window. If a former truck driver now earns six figures a year, why couldn’t you? The more you read, the better working online sounds. How exciting to be able to choose your own hours, sleep as late as you want, make money while you’re sleeping. And the truth? It’s all possible but not likely for someone who has just decided to become an internet marketer.

Sales pages are written to sell

When you are buying “make money” ebooks and joining multi-level marketing programs and memberships that promise to train you to make money online, you are not a marketer. You are a customer in what is known as a target audience. Some new marketers stay in the buying mode for years and then quit “marketing” in frustration. They haven’t earned an income and may become cynical about working online or may blame themselves for being unable to succeed. They will honestly tell you they have tried everything and nothing worked.

Some will go into debt quickly downloading one ebook after another. They quickly read through the plan the author proposes, and either do a few steps and quit or never start the marketing plan in the first place. They mean to do it but another new method is supposed to be great or a new ebook was just launched – so they move on to the next big idea.

Make your own path

Internet Marketing Reality CheckInternet marketing is not a dream or easy path to riches. Taking the time to learn basic skills such as building a website and a blog and the willingness to invest a small amount of funds for domains and good hosting will pay off. Learning to effectively use tactics such as article marketing, marketing through social media and video marketing will provide payoffs for years if you put in the effort at the beginning of the journey.

Internet marketing is like learning the alphabet as a child. You can’t start with A (I’m new) and jump immediately to Z (I’m rich) without learning the letters between A and Z. Don’t read about building a website or blog – do it and learn as you go. If you plan to market with articles it won’t help much to write one article and then wait to see what happens. Write ten articles and while doing that learn how to find good niches and how to choose the right keywords and then write ten more articles.

Ask for advice from other marketers you meet online through blogs or forums and listen to that advice with an open mind. Make purchases carefully and remember you are building your own business. You may learn from others but you can’t follow someone else’s exact footsteps. That path has been taken. Take the best advice and training from different sources and combine them to make a plan that will work for you.

How to Use Viral Marketing to Increase Website Traffic

Viral Marketing and Website Traffic

If you own a website, you know that once it is live online marketing can be daunting and time consuming if you do not have an effective marketing strategy. If you want to increase traffic to your website, there are several marketing strategies that you can use that will provide you with a steady flow of traffic for years to come. One of these strategies is known as Viral Marketing.

What is Viral Marketing?

Viral marketing is the electronic way to spread the word about your product or service. It basically works similar to word-of-mouth advertising except you are spreading the word over the Internet.

Viral marketing is also a very cost effective way to generate a steady flow of website traffic because most of the tools you use to spread the word are free or inexpensive to set up. The viral marketing strategies we will discuss here will help you generate website visitors immediately as well as over the long term, and quickly build your reputation as an expert in your field.

Viral Marketing and Website Traffic

Viral Marketing Strategies

Article Marketing: Write articles that relate to the product or service you are offering on your website. Not only will this help to establish you as an expert on the subject but it will also help to spread the word about your product or service and win the trust of your website visitors.

When you create the articles, submit them to online article marketing directories, include them in your newsletter, or permit others to reprint them on their website with a credit and link back to your website at the end.

Create an Affiliate Program: If you are offering your own product or service, create an affiliate program for others to offer your product. Make sure the commission you pay out to your affiliates encourages others to get involved with offering your product. As you increase the number of your affiliates the amount of traffic to your website will increase as well.

Write Press Releases: Create press release about your product or service and submit it to the online press release directories. In the press release you could invite the readers to visit your website for a free product or drawing. Make sure you take massive action because not all of the directories will publish your release.

If you get your release published by at least 4% of the directories you will have your website address visible to thousands of readers.

RSS Feeds: RSS feeds were originally designed for news organizations and now they are also used to distribute blog content and any updates that you make to your blog. RSS Feeds are also capable of distributing the articles you write throughout the Web. RSS means “Really Simple Syndication.”

Create a Mini-Course: Create a mini course about your product or service and set it up on an autoresponder. The autoresponder will automatically distribute each chapter of the course to your opt-in list of subscribers. There are many sites such as www.aweber.com that will provide an autoresponder service for you.

Although these are only a few of the viral marketing strategies you can use, they will help to get you started on your way to increasing traffic to your website both immediately and long term.

Viral Phenomenon

A Site or Product goes Viral

We’ve all seen them – the sites and videos that are launched and go viral. The visitor and viewer counts go through the roof as word spreads about the latest and greatest product/idea/video.

Viral PhenomenonViral marketing has always been with us. Offline a new boutique that is unique and interesting may find customers visiting because their friends and neighbors are talking about the new store. Online, the viral effect is multiplied a thousand fold. Social media sites and YouTube account for many of the viral marketing phenomena we witness. A respected Twitter user with thousands of followers mentions a really funny video he just watched – and YouTube is the destination of hundreds of people who read the Tweet. Others pass the tweet on to their own followers by re-tweeting and the exposure grows.

One of the most discussed marketing topics is how to make a site or product go “viral”. Some of the top marketers online have mastered the process by using pre-launch buzz and marketing tricks to increase interest and promote discussion (and sometimes disputes) across the internet that lead to more interest in the product.

Is it Accidental?

Do you think it’s accidental that marketing forums have many topics posted asking about a guru’s “new product” or “when is the launch” or “did the partners split up”? Of course it isn’t an accident. It’s a carefully orchestrated plan for creating a viral response to increase sales. It can work well or fall flat.

This is not an area of marketing where you can be retiring or hidden and expect a huge response. You take a chance when you openly try to turn your product or site into one that profits from a viral reaction. It’s not enough to create some buzz by having your followers ask leading questions about what you’re doing.

Interest will die quickly unless you provide something to build on that initial buzz by posting a YouTube video that is outrageous or hilarious or where you poke fun at yourself. This step may be the most difficult to accomplish.

Rumors are a great technique for viral marketing. The idea promoted that a well known top dog is quitting IM or has filed charges against his former partner will arouse curiosity IF you can play the part. Any scenario where people can contribute their opinion or take sides in an argument has a good chance of viral promotion if the drama reaches the right target audience.

Viral Responses

The unique aspect of viral marketing is the inability to create it on demand. Sites and blogs become viral promotion wonders and sometimes it seems there is no rhyme or reason for why this has happened.

Even a small viral reaction to your new topic or video can provide a significant increase in visitors to your site and sales of your product. Also true is that viral marketing can have a negative tone to it and should this happen can destroy credibility and sales.

It’s good planning to provide advice or videos that are meant to grab attention and get people talking in the hope your site or product will cause a viral upsurge of attention. Just remember that viral responses are difficult, if not impossible, to predict and can have unintended results.

What is a Ping?

Pinging Blogs after Updates

Way back in the olden days of computer networking (like 5 years ago?), a ping was a signal sent from one computer to another to test the connection and see if the computer on the other end was alive.

Not very many years later, a “ping” in internet marketing terminology is a message sent to websites that informs those sites an update has been made on your blog. Rather than waiting for search engines to visit and notice new info added to your blog, the ping announces “hey, look, new stuff”.

The procedure of pinging blogs after updates utilizes “ping sites” with appropriate names such as pingler, pingomatic and pingoat. Is it just me or are internet names getting sillier these days?

What is a pingYou can still use pinging to test a computer connection. A ping is nothing more than a pack of test data with a response that can be timed. The term “ping” originated from sonar used by submarines. Sonar sends out a pulse of sound and if there is a nearby ship or the sub is close to the floor of the ocean, the sound echoes back with a “ping”. A video screen displays the direction and the distance of the object that pinged the signal.

For blogs, pinging a new entry is often automatic and it’s a message to blog directories of new content added to your blog. It’s an invitation to their spiders to come and visit and update their information about your blog. With a new blog it’s wise to post frequently and regularly for the first few weeks as the pings indicate an active blog and blog directories and search engines are alerted to send spiders to visit often to find new content.

Until recently, each time you added a significant update you would go to pingoat or pingomatic, enter the url of your blog and instruct it to ping. For Wordpress there are plugins such as MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer that will ping your updates automatically and ignore edits. It takes over the chore of pinging and is a useful addition to WP blogs. Even better, in Wordpress releases of 2.7 and above all you must do is add a list of ping sites in your Wordpress control panel and WP will automatically ping those sites when you add a new blog entry. How easy is that?

For a time it was recommend that blog owners add multiple ping sites to the WP panel but that strategy resulted in some sites being alerted more than once when an update was made. This was frowned upon by the sites and the latest recommendations are to use only one or two ping services for your blog. That sends out notice of your updates to pingomatic (most often recommended) or pingoat and is broadcast from there – but avoids being viewed as a site that is too pushy about its updates.

Entrepreneur Mindset Steps to Creating a Marketing Plan

Easy Marketing Plan for the Entrepreneur Mindset

Creating a marketing plan is another component of an online marketing entrepreneur mindset. Before creating a marketing plan, you have to do your research and become familiar with the customers that will be purchasing your product or service. It is important to understand their mindset and why they will be purchasing your product or service.

Although you do not need a high-priced marketing expert, you will need to have a plan that will map the road to your success. The marketing plan should specifically indicate which customers are going to be your best prospects and why. If you have this information you can gear your marketing efforts toward the interests of those customers. Your marketing plan should also describe the data you have collected on your business and compare it to your market.

To ensure you are moving in the right direction, here are some easy steps to help you create a marketing plan that will reflect the needs of your business.

Site Your Product

Choose your product or service carefully and make sure that you place it in front of the right customer. This strategy involves making sure you have the right product at a price that you feel is fair to your customers, and the right promotions to reach your targeted audience who will be interested in your product. If all of these elements line up, it will lead to sales and eventually profits.

Creating a Marketing Plan

Brainstorm

Sit down and brainstorm ideas with your colleagues, friends or other experts in your field of business to decide on what the best marketing strategy will be for your customers and your product/service. If you know your customer then you can determine who you are selling to and what their needs are. You will also have to decide what sets your product or service apart from all of the others in your field.

Think about what will make your product or service noticeable on the market and then design your strategy around that premise. Decide the size of your market, how you will distribute your product or service, and where you want to be one year from now.

Listen to Your Prospects

Find out about the preferences of your customers by distributing surveys, asking them what they think about a current product, or offering something for free in return for their feedback. Consumer feedback will determine what will make your business grow and how you can set yourself apart from the competition.

Create the Plan

Once you have completed the previous steps you can sit down and begin to create your marketing plan. The plan should include a summary of your current market and your goals for both short term and long term. It should also include a list of your target markets along with a strategy for reaching each market.
Once you have a handle on all of this information you can create an expense plan and choose the types of marketing resources and materials you will use.

Track Your Results

Include a place in your marketing plan to keep track of your results so you can see where you need to make revisions and improvements. Like a business plan, you should also keep your marketing plan updated and revisit it regularly to ensure you are on target with your goals.

Online Entrepreneur Mindset Developing a Winning Attitude

Mindset Winning Attitude

Some say that entrepreneurs are born with a different type of mindset and others feel that successful entrepreneurs have worked to develop a winning mindset. In either case an online entrepreneur mindset has the same requirements as an offline entrepreneur. This is a mindset that is required to create success and is comprised of specific beliefs and goals, values, and creative thinking.

Mindset Winning Attitude

A person with an online entrepreneur mindset takes the necessary steps that are in line with their thinking patterns. Although everyone is from different backgrounds, if you have the desire to break out on your own, you can do so by following a few simple rules to developing a winning attitude.

Take Responsibility For Your Life and Business
Because many of us are brought up learning that we must follow rules that we had nothing to do with setting up, the first step is to take control of your life and take responsibility for your destiny. Taking responsibility requires changing your mindset to avoid blaming others and circumstances for what is going on in your life.

From the beginning of time we are told, do this, do that, go to school, get a job, and so on. We get caught up in what others expect of us instead of what we really want. The challenge is to break out of this mindset into a take charge attitude.

Plan Ahead

A person with an online entrepreneurial mindset knows what he/she wants and how to get it. They plan with the end goal in mind. This means beginning with the big picture and then planning measurable goals that will take you to the ultimate end goal.

Take Part

Online entrepreneur mindset requires taking part instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting for what you want to come to you. People with entrepreneurial mindsets shape their lives instead of letting their life shape them.

Persistence

A winning attitude toward succeeding in business means that you do not let setbacks discourage you. Instead you pick up and move on, learn from the setback, and use the experience to create success with your online business.

No Fear

Another component of a winning attitude is to have no fear. Online entrepreneurs are not afraid to fail and understand failure as a part of life. They act upon things despite fear where others are paralyzed by this emotion.

Ready, Fire, Aim

A person with an online entrepreneur mindset does not wait until the perfect time to achieve their dreams. They take action, get started, and then refine their goals along the way.

Have Your Cake and Eat It Too

This is the mentality of a successful online entrepreneur. A lot of people think you either have fun or you make money. An entrepreneur believes that you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Always Learning

In order to succeed in business an online entrepreneur must always be willing to learn new things. While the entrepreneur is learning others are afraid of learning new things. Generally other people’s learning has ceased since graduating from high school or college.

Whether you grew up around entrepreneurial parents or you come from a working-class background, all of these attributes add up to an online entrepreneur mindset whether you already have them or need to develop them. A winning attitude is what distinguishes you from the common person and is the key that opens the door to the lifestyle that is uniquely your own.

Blog Marketing for Newbies

Newbie Blogging Tip

Posting comments on blogs and participating in forums is a free and pleasant way to promote your business online.

Newbie blog tipIdeally, you want to comment on blogs that are “do follow” as that provides a live link for your own blog or site. You can use google to find lists of blogs that allow “do follow”. Identifying this characteristic is becoming a bit more difficult as the latest Wordpress blog release is reported as being set to “no follow” by default. Some bloggers have disputed this but it does seem to be the trend for new blog releases.

There’s really no downside to commenting even on blogs that do not follow your link. By using your name (or the pen name used in that niche) you are someone who speaks from experience and you are gaining name recognition. That’s not a bad thing at all.

Forum marketing is a little trickier. There are some long running, excellent marketing forums that are free to join and some of them can provide you with a fresh source of customers. This is true only if you approach forum marketing in the right way.

On a forum, your name recognition is of utmost importance. You may well be totally unknown when you join but by posting useful and helpful comments you can build a reputation as a trusted marketer.

If you are experienced in using Wordpress you can answer questions about customizing, plugins and themes and become the “go to” person for questions on the subject. It only makes sense that should you decide to develop your own themes to sell, you have a ready market on that forum.

If you are a brand new marketer with no experience and little knowledge you can still build a reputation on a marketing forum. Ask questions that clearly show you have tried to find an answer. Don’t post rudely or make useless comments that add nothing to a discussion thread. Above all, don’t post about not being able to earn any money – while displaying a link in your signature that says “I earn $500 a day doing this and so can you”.

The trick to success in forum marketing is planning your answers, showing patience and respect and posting over a period of time (often months) to build name recognition.

Don’t confine forum marketing or blog commenting only to sites aimed at marketers or making money online. If you have a dog site, find and join a few dog forums and participate in them. Start slowly by asking a question or providing a solution or telling about a personal experience with dogs. Ease your way into the membership and you will be accepted as part of the group. Always read the terms and conditions of any forum you join – you don’t want to break the rules or be labeled a forum spammer or troll.

By the same token, search out blogs that focus on the craft, hobby or game you have selected for your niche and comment in a helpful way. Don’t be argumentative, critical or rude and follow a plan of becoming part of the group rather than trying to get fast attention for yourself. These are long term marketing strategies that can pay off well for marketers in any niche.

Internet Marketing – Leaving the Free Mentality in the Dust

Newbie Marketers Free Mentality

Newbie Marketers Free MentalityOne self-defeating belief of those new to working online is the insistence that everything be free. The reason often given is “I want to see if it works before I spend anything.” It’s understandable but not realistic. There are fantastic tools and scripts offered free but there are a few tools you need to pay for from the start.

With blogger, you can start and maintain a blog for free. You can apply for the Google Adsense program and earn money. What could be wrong with that? Blogger can remove your blog at any time without warning. Your site may violate a term of use or may appear overly promotional – the reasons seem to vary widely. The problem with using blogger as your main site is that you don’t own it.

Does this make Blogger blogs useless? No. Experienced marketers use blogger blogs as feeder blogs to funnel visitors to their “money site”. In fact, marketers often create a web of free blogs feeding each other with links and all leading back to the money site in the center.

A free autoresponder sounds like a good way to “try” building mailing list. Why pay for one of the major autoresponders with monthly fees when you can send emails for free? Simple answer – emails not received are emails not read. The major autoresponder providers work to make certain ISP’s do not filter email from their service into spam folders.

Domains and hosting are not expensive. You can register a domain for under $10 a year and can obtain quality web hosting for the same amount. You can quickly learn to build a (free) wordpress blog on your own hosting server with your own domain address. Free templates allow you have some freedom in the design and colors and blogging is easy even for beginners.

Invest in your business by purchasing tools such as domain names, hosting, and software that help build your site or blog bigger and better. There is no reason to buy links or to hire an expensive SEO service. Spend wisely and you’ll find starting an online business is the least expensive way to begin self employment.

One of the best tips about purchasing products for your business is to wait 24 hours after reading a sales page to make the purchase. Don’t read the sales page a second time – just go back to the site and see if you still feel the urge to click “buy now”. Chances are, you won’t. Sales pages are designed to make you want to buy so give the emotional high time to wear off before you pay for something you may not need.

Understand that investing in your business is not the same as just spending on anything that makes promises on a sales page. Buy only what you need and only when you are ready to use it. You’ll keep down your costs and be in profit that much sooner.

~ Julie

Wattles on Business, Talent and Gratitude

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles led the way for many self-help authors and inspired the popular book “The Secret.” Wattles wrote a number of books, but it is The Science of Getting Rich that he is best known. In a letter to written to the magazine, The Nautilus, his daughter wrote, “he made lots of money, and had good health, except for his extreme frailty.”

CHAPTER 13
Getting into the Right Business

SUCCESS, in any particular business, depends for one thing upon your possessing in a well-developed state the faculties required in that business.

Without good musical faculty no one can succeed as a teacher of music; without well-developed mechanical faculties no one can achieve great success in any of the mechanical trades; without tact and the commercial faculties no one can succeed in mercantile pursuits. But to possess in a well-developed state the faculties required in your particular vocation does not insure getting rich.

There are musicians who have remarkable talent, and who yet remain poor; there are blacksmiths, carpenters, and so on who have excellent mechanical ability, but who do not get rich; and there are merchants with good faculties for dealing with men who nevertheless fail.

The different faculties are tools; it is essential to have good tools, but it is also essential that the tools should be used in the Right Way. One man can take a sharp saw, a square, a good plane, and so on, and build a handsome article of furniture; another man can take the same tools and set to work to duplicate the article, but his production will be a botch. He does not know how to use good tools in a successful way.

The various faculties of your mind are the tools with which you must do the work which is to make you rich; it will be easier for you to succeed if you get into a business for which you are well equipped with mental tools.

Generally speaking, you will do best in that business which will use your strongest faculties; the one for which you are naturally “best fitted.” But there are limitations to this statement, also. No man should regard his vocation as being irrevocably fixed by the tendencies with which he was born.

You can get rich in ANY business, for if you have not the right talent for you can develop that talent; it merely means that you will have to make your tools as you go along, instead of confining yourself to the use of those with which you were born.

It will be EASIER for you to succeed in a vocation for which you already have the talents in a well-developed state; but you CAN succeed in any vocation, for you can develop any rudimentary talent, and there is no talent of which you have not at least the rudiment.

You will get rich most easily in point of effort, if you do that for which you are best fitted; but you will get rich most satisfactorily if you do that which you WANT to do.

Doing what you want to do is life; and there is no real satisfaction in living if we are compelled to be forever doing something which we do not like to do, and can never do what we want to do. And it is certain that you can do what you want to do; the desire to do it is proof that you have within you the power which can do it.

Desire is a manifestation of power.

The desire to play music is the power which can play music seeking expression and development; the desire to invent mechanical devices is the mechanical talent seeking expression and development.

Where there is no power, either developed or undeveloped, to do a thing, there is never any desire to do that thing; and where there is strong desire to do a thing, it is certain proof that the power to do it is strong, and only requires to be developed and applied in the Right Way.

All things else being equal, it is best to select the business for which you have the best developed talent; but if you have a strong desire to engage in any particular line of work, you should select that work as the ultimate end at which you aim.

You can do what you want to do, and it is your right and privilege to follow the business or avocation which will be most congenial and pleasant.

You are not obliged to do what you do not like to do, and should not do it except as a means to bring you to the doing of the thing you want to do.

If there are past mistakes whose consequences have placed you in an undesirable business or environment, you may be obliged for some time to do what you do not like to do; but you can make the doing of it pleasant by knowing that it is making it possible for you to come to the doing of what you want to do.

If you feel that you are not in the right vocation, do not act too hastily in trying to get into another one. The best way, generally, to change business or environment is by growth.

Do not be afraid to make a sudden and radical change if the opportunity is presented, and you feel after careful consideration that it is the right opportunity; but never take sudden or radical action when you are in doubt as to the wisdom of doing so.

There is never any hurry on the creative plane; and there is no lack of opportunity.

When you get out of the competitive mind you will understand that you never need to act hastily. No one else is going to beat you to the thing you want to do; there is enough for all. If one space is taken, another and a better one will be opened for you a little farther on; there is plenty of time.

When you are in doubt, wait. Fall back on the contemplation of your vision, and increase your faith and purpose; and by all means, in times of doubt and indecision, cultivate gratitude.

A day or two spent in contemplating the vision of what you want, and in earnest thanksgiving that you are getting it, will bring your mind into such close relationship with the Supreme that you will make no mistake when you do act.

There is a mind which knows all there is to know; and you can come into close unity with this mind by faith and the purpose to advance in life, if you have deep gratitude.

Mistakes come from acting hastily, or from acting in fear or doubt, or in forgetfulness of the Right Motive, which is more life to all, and less to none.

As you go on in the Certain Way, opportunities will come to you in increasing number; and you will need to be very steady in your faith and purpose, and to keep in close touch with the All Mind by reverent gratitude.

Do all that you can do in a perfect manner every day, but do it without haste, worry, or fear. Go as fast as you can, but never hurry.

Remember that in the moment you begin to hurry you cease to be a creator and become a competitor; you drop back upon the old plane again.

Whenever you find yourself hurrying, call a halt; fix your attention on the mental image of the thing you want, and begin to give thanks that you are getting it. The exercise of GRATITUDE will never fail to strengthen your faith and renew your purpose.
